Dove: In Pink
Dove’s fleece arrived from a Midwestern farm whose small flock consists of predominately Lincoln Longwool sheep. Originally from the Eastern coast of England, Longwools are known for their heavy, long and lustrous fiber. Dove’s defined curls are shiny, smooth and strong.
Colored using botanical plant dyes to match a lush grapefruit pink.
If kept out of direct sunlight the color will remain vibrant for many years, in brighter conditions it will soften to a lighter shade.
This piece is quite resistant and will work well as a rug or on furniture. The felted base is made from undyed American Merino and Targhee wools, it has texture, resiliance and natural flecks of remnant tiny dried grass.
